From the streets of a modern Midwest city to the dusty, fetid paths of ancient Jerusalem, a conspiracy unfolds that could change the world - and the past. Retired U.S. Army Major David Speer finds himself in a race against - and through - time to stop it while he leads the most daring and important rescue mission in history. A.D. has been likened by reviewers as a blend of Dan Brown and early Michael Crichton.

I purchased this book without having read any prior books by the author and had no idea what was in store for me. After beginning the book I found it was difficult to put down and it became a pleasantly suprisingly good reading experience with a well developed and unanticipated storyline. I have to say that I don't often read books of an author who has sufficient ability to make a book difficult for me to take a break. This is a good read by a good author and I hope to have the opportunity to read many more offerings by this gentleman.Thank you.

AD Craig G Sarver 9781453653050 Books Reviews
This book is a must read. I don't read anything but true crime but was asked to give this a try. So glad I did once into the book I couldn't put it down. The only book that I have ever felt that way about was the Davinci Code. Excellent job waiting for the next book.
I admit I was skeptical when this book was recommended to me because it's not in the genre of stories I normally read. Movie, yes, but not book. Boy, was I wrong! Once I got into it, I couldn't put it down! I bought the edition and mostly listened with the text-to-speech feature, otherwise I would have been blazing through it so fast I probably would have missed a lot. This National Treasure Meets The DaVinci Code story had me gripped so tightly I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. I would also love to see this book brought to the screen. After reading this book, I'm anxious to see more from this author.
I normally do not read much fiction. I personally know the author and wanted to see what kind of book he wrote. It immediantely grabbed my attention to the point I could not put the thing down. As a result of Craig's novel, I am ordering more fiction for my kindle and anxiously awaiting Craig Sarvers second publication.
Craig Sarver's first novel has a unique plot that grabs your attention and builds in intensity until the fascinating ending is finally revealed. As you get into the book you find that it unfolds as science fiction in such a distinctive way that I wanted to keep reading straight through so I could find out what was going to happen. People who read this book will be impressed by the research and detail, and Craig Sarver's imagination. I will surely look forward to Craig Sarver's future books.
Don't know if this book is for everyone. I simply adore just about anything written about time travel so I enjoyed the story a lot. How the time travel took place was interesting and not like anything I have come across in other stories. I loved to hate the " BAD GUYS" and they got what they so richly deserved in the end.
Having read and thoroughly enjoyed A.D. by Craig G. Sarver it is my opinion that the author has combined elements of fiction, historical research and action into a well conceived debut novel.
The plot and character development contained in the novel are in depth yet easily followed and create a suspenseful storyline. From the initial chapter the novel grabs the readers' attention. By incorporating factual historical research, Mr. Sarver creates a plausible adventure that combines the novels fictional characters with arguably the most recognizable "real" character in history.
With elements of science, military operations, religion and human relationships the novel tactfully presents both ancient and modern topics for the readers thoughtful consideration and reflection.
For fiction lovers, this book has broad appeal and is surely not to be missed.
I read every night just before retiring. I typically only get through 5-10 pages of any book before sleep overcomes me. This is the first book in years where I had to limit myself to one chapter a night! Mr. Sarver demonstrates an extraordinary imagination, lively plot, and an adictive story line. I give my unqualified recommendation to this book for anybody who reads just for pleasure. I will anxiously await the author's next publication.
